We are proud of our unit and proud of our cadets.  The United States Navy only requires our unit to have a color guard unit; however, we are committed to providing our cadets with the most rewarding experience possible.  This is why our unit supports a number of award winning teams.  The dedication and commitment of our cadets have earned us many awards, but one of our proudest is the fact that we have earned the right to compete at the national competition in Pensacola, Florida.  This is a great honor, but it is also an expensive undertaking.  Our unit has taken on as much of the financial burden possible, but it will still require each cadet to come up with a great deal of money on his/her own if we are to go.  The families of some of our cadets simply can't afford such a trip.
